New!!! Madonna. A dessert variety bred by W. U. Kapelushny / Russia. This is a composite hybrid (Talizman x Wera). Madonna is a self-pollinating variety, very early (95-100 days), with strong growth and good woodiness. The clusters are cylindrical, medium-firm, large to very large, weighing 700-900g to 2kg. The berries are slightly oval or ovoid, greenish-yellow, very large (15-20g), 40 x 28 mm. The fruit does not tend to crack. The flesh is fleshy, crisp, with a delicate muscat flavor, very tasty. The fruit's appearance and flavor make it very attractive commercially. The variety has high sugar content (18-20%) with low acidity (5-7g/l). The variety has high yields (75-85%). Disease resistance is high, and frost hardy to -25°C. The fruit tolerates transportation and storage very well. This variety is suitable for both amateur and commercial plantations
