Elica is a seedless ( III st class) dessert grape variety bred by Babrikow / Bulgaria. Elica is a hybrid. It is a very early variety (100 - 105 days), self-pollinating, strong-growing with good bed woodiness. The grapes are cylindrical, big 400-800g, medium compact. The berries are oval, bright white-yellow, big weighing 5 - 6g. The flesh are fleshy and juscy with a harmonized taste, very tasty. Sugar content high (17-18%) with low acidity of 4-5g/l. Yield high 70 - 80%. Resistance to diseases is good with a frost resistance of -21°С. The fruit tolerates transport and storage very well. The variety is suitable for the establishment of amateur and commercial plantations. Grapevines grafted Table Elica are of best quality.
