New!!! Emigrant is a dessert variety bred by A. W. Burdak. It is a complex hybrid (Kiesza 1 x Romanian Victoria). Emigrant is a self-pollinating, medium-early variety (120-130 days) with strong growth and good lignification. The bunches are large and very large, 600-800 g to 2 kg, conical, moderately compact. The berries are very large, 20-30 g (40x32 mm), slightly ovoid or oval, white-green to yellow-green, with no tendency to crack. The flesh is firm, crisp, harmonised with delicate fruity notes, very tasty. The sugar content is high (16-18%) with an acidity of 6-7 g/l. Fertility is high at 85%. Disease resistance is good with frost resistance down to -23°C. The fruit tolerates transport and storage well. The variety is suitable for commercial and amateur cultivation.
