Piesnia / Песня

Piesnia (OV-6pk) is a variety bred at the Tairov Institute Novocherkassk. It is a compound hybrid (Original x Wostorg). Piesnia is a self-pollinating variety, very early (100 - 105 days). Growth is quite strong with very good woodiness. The clusters are loose, conical, large to very large 450 - 800 grams. Berries are large 7 - 10g, bright, amber yellow, rather globular. The flesh is fleshy juicy with honey aromas, very tasty. It accumulates a very high sugar content of up to 24% with a low acidity of 5-7g/l. Yield is high 75 - 85%. Disease resistance is very high with frost resistance down to -25. One of the tastiest varieties bred at the institute. The fruit tolerates transport and storage quite well but for a short period. The variety is suitable for commercial and amateur cultivation. Grapevines grafted " Piesnia ” are of best quality.
