Novelty !!! Ruslan is a dessert variety bred by V. V. Zagoriulko. It is a compound hybrid (Podarok Zap. x Kuban). Ruslan is a very early variety 100-105 days with strong growth and good woodiness. Grapes large to very large 700 -900 grams and larger, conical, moderately compact. Berries very large 12-14g (36x24mm) oval, dark blue. Fruits do not crack from excess rain. Flesh tight, crisp with harmonised flavour, very tasty. Sugar content 17-19% with an acidity of 6-7g/l. High yield 75-80%. Good disease resistance (above average) with frost resistance down to - 24°C.Fruit tolerates transport and storage well. The variety is suitable for commercial and amateur cultivation. Grapevines grafted "Rusłan" are of best quality.
