Bagration / Кишмиш Багратион
New !!! Bagration (kishmish Bagration) is a seedless dessert variety bred by V.M. Kalugin. It is a compound hybrid. Bagration is a self-pollinating, early variety of 105-115 days with strong growth and very good woodiness. The grapes are large and very large 800 -1200 grams, cylindrical-conical, moderately compact. The berries (some of the largest among seedless varieties) are very large 10 -12g (28x27mm) oval, dark red, purple, with no tendency to burst. The flesh is fleshy, the taste harmonised with delicate fruity notes, very tasty. The sugar content is high at 17-19% with an acidity of 5-7g/l. The variety is very commercially attractive due to the lack of seeds, size and taste of the berries. Yield is high at 80%. Disease resistance is good with frost resistance down to - 24°C. The fruit tolerates transport and storage well. The variety is suitable for commercial and amateur cultivation. Grafted vines of ‘Bagration’ are of the best quality.
