New!!! Bylina is a dessert variety bred by W. U. Kapelushnyj. It is a compound hybrid (Vostorg Krasnyj x Kishmish Novocherkasskij). Bylina variety is self-pollinating, early (115-120 days), with strong growth and good woodiness. The grapes are large to very large 700 -1200 grams and more, conical-cylindrical moderately compact. Berries are very large 10 -14g (30x25mm) oval, dark red. The flesh is fleshy with a harmonised flavour, very tasty. Sugar content is very high 18-20% with an acidity of 6-8g/l. Yield is high at 75-80%. Disease resistance is good with frost resistance down to - 26°C. The fruit tolerates transport and storage well. The variety is suitable for commercial and amateur cultivation. Grapevines grafted "Bylina" are of best quality.
