New !!! Artek is a dessert variety bred by S.E. Gusev. It is a compound hybrid ( Novocherkassk Jubilee x Summer Muscat). Artek is a self-pollinating, early 110-115 day variety with strong growth and good woodiness. The grapes are large and very large 1000 grams and more, conical, medium compact. Berries very large 18 - 20g, oblong , pointed, yellow-pink. Berries show no tendency to burst. Flesh firm, fleshy juicy with a muscat aroma, very tasty. Sugar content high, 18-21% with an acidity of 6-7g/l. High yield, 75-80%. The variety has high commercial value due to its appearance (large interestingly coloured berries) and taste. Good disease resistance with frost resistance down to - 23°C. Fruit tolerates transport and storage well. Suitable for commercial and amateur cultivation. Grafted vines of ‘Artek’ are of the best quality.
