New !!! Pegaz is a dessert variety of A.V. Karpushev's selection. It is an interspecific hybrid (Caesar x Dukat). Pegaz is a self-pollinating variety. It is a medium-late variety 125-135 days old with moderately strong growth with good woodiness. Grapes large and very large 700-1000 grams and above, conical, medium compact. Berries very large 15 - 25g, oval, dark purple to almost black. They do not burst with excess moisture. Flesh firm, juicy, harmonised, very tasty. Sugar content very high 18-20% with an acidity of 6-7g/l. Yield high 75-85%. Disease resistance very good with frost resistance to - 25°C. Very attractive and sought after variety. Fruit tolerates transport and storage well. Variety suitable for commercial and amateur cultivation.Grapevines grafted "Pegaz" are of best quality.
