Princessa / Princess (Melissa) - SO4
New !!! Princessa (C45-59) is a dessert seedless grape variety bred in the USA / Fresno. Princessa is a hybrid of Vitis Vinifera ( Crimson Seedless and B40-208 ). Princessa is a medium-early variety (120 - 125 days), strongly growing with good woodiness. The grapes are conical, large and very large 700- 1200g, medium compact. Berries are round through oval to cylindrical, white-green ( with pink blush in the sun), large, with an average weight of 6 - 8g. The flesh is crisp and juicy, with a muscat aroma, very tasty. High sugar content (18-20%) with low acidity of 5-7g/l. Yield high at 80 - 85%. Disease resistance is good (as in the more resistant Vitis Vinifera) with frost resistance down to -21°С. The fruit tolerates transport and storage very well. Due to the size and stability of the crop, it is willingly grown commercially all over the world. Europe - Italy, Spain, as well as the Americas and Australia. The variety is suitable for the establishment of amateur and commercial plantations. The grafted 'Princessa' table grape seedling is of the highest quality.
