New !!! Adler is a dessert variety bred by the Novocherkassk Institute. It is a composite hybrid (Talisman x Avgustin). Adler is a self-pollinating, early variety (110 - 120 days). Growth is strong with very good woodiness. The grapes are medium tight, conical, large and very large 500 - 800 grams and larger. Berries are very large 10 - 12g, oval (35x24mm), bright yellow-green at full maturity yellow amber. The flesh is harmonised, tight, crunchy, sweet, very tasty. The variety accumulates a very high sugar content of up to 19-23% with a very low acidity of 4-5g/l. The variety has a very high yield of 75-85%. The fruit can be kept on the bushes for a long time, up to one month, without loss of flavour and additionally more sugar accumulation. Disease resistance very good with frost resistance down to -24°C. The variety is suitable for both amateur and commercial cultivation. The fruit tolerates transport and storage well. Grapevines grafted "Adler" are of best quality.
