New !!! Wowczik is a dessert variety bred by W. U. Kapelushny. It is a compound hybrid (Talisman x Gagarinskij). Wowczik is a self-pollinating, early variety, 100 - 115 days. Growth is moderately strong, with very good woodiness. The grapes are medium tight, conical, very large 800 - 1300 grams and larger. Berries are very large 14 - 16g, oval, dark burgundy. The flesh is fleshy-juicy, crisp, harmonised with fruity notes, very tasty. The variety accumulates a lot of sugar up to 17-19% with a low acidity of 6-7g/l. Due to its unique taste and attractive fruit colour, Wowczik has high commercial value. The variety has a yield of 75-85%. Disease resistance high with frost tolerance down to -24°C. The variety is suitable for both amateur and commercial cultivation. The fruit tolerates transport and storage well. Grapevines grafted "Wowczik" are of best quality.
