New !!! Samurai is a dessert, seedless (III class - few berries have single soft seeds) variety of W.W. Zagorulko selection. It is a compound hybrid (Z-10 x Krasień). Samurai is a self-pollinating variety, early 110-115 days with strong growth and good woodiness. Grapes are large and very large 800-1500 grams or more, conical, medium compact, long - often up to 50cm long. Berries medium sized, round or slightly oval (12x 12mm), 4 - 6g, dark blue. Flesh fleshy juicy, harmonised, with fruity notes, very tasty, skin delicate, almost imperceptible during eating. Sugar content high 17-19% with an acidity of 6-7g/l. High yield 80-85%. Very attractive cultivar with high commercial value – cluster (grapes) size, fruit flavour. Good disease resistance with frost resistance down to - 23°C. Fruit tolerates transport and storage well. Suitable for commercial and amateur cultivation. The grafted sapling of "Samuraj" table grapes is of the highest quality.
