Nowyj Podarok Zaporoża / Новый Подарок Запорожью

Novy Podarok Zaporoża is a dessert grape variety bred in Ukraine / Zaporizhzhia. It is a compound hybrid (Podarok Zaporizhzhia x Vostorg). Self-pollinating variety, medium early (120 - 125 days) with medium vigour and good woodiness. Grapes large to very large (600 - 1000g) to 1.5kg conically cylindrical medium compact. Berries large and very large 32 x 22 mm with a weight of 9 - 12 g, bright, white-yellow, oval-rolled. Not prone to bursting. Crisp flesh with a harmonised flavour, with fruity notes, very tasty. Very attractive fruit with high commercial value. High sugar content 18 - 22% with low acidity 5-7g/l. Very high yield variety 75 - 85 %. High disease resistance with frost resistance to - 25 °C. Very good variety for both amateur and commercial cultivation. Fruit tolerates transport and storage well. Grapevines grafted " Nowyj Podarok Zaporoża” are of best quality.
