New !!! Italianiec is a dessert variety bred by V. M. Kalugin. It is a compound hybrid. Italianiec is a self-pollinating variety with an early maturity (110-115 days). Growth is moderately strong with good woodiness. The grapes are large and very large 600-1000 g or more, conical, fairly compact. Berries are very large 15-18 g, ovoid, dark blue, with no tendency to burst. Flesh firm, crisp, juicy, harmonised, very tasty. Sugar content very high 19-20% with an acidity of 6-7g/l. High yield of 80-85%. Disease resistance good, frost resistance to - 23°C. Variety very attractive to the trade due to its appearance and flavour. Fruit tolerates transport and storage well. The variety is suitable for commercial and amateur cultivation. Grafted vines of ‘Italianiec’ are of the best quality.
