New !!! Gavril is a dessert grape variety bred by A.V. Andronov. It is a complex hybrid ( Talisman x Pamiati Niegrula x SP-4). Gavril is an early variety (115-120 days), it has female flowers (open-pollinated variety) that pollinate very well. Strong growth with very good woodiness. Branched conical clusters, can be with wings, very large 800-1000g and more, medium compact. Berries oval, evenly spaced, very large 10-12g, dark blue, no tendency to burst. Flesh fleshy, crisp, rich flavour with noticeable chocolate notes. High sugar content 19-20% with low acidity 6-7g. High yield 80-85%. Resistance to disease high with frost resistance of -25°С. Variety very good for organic cultivation. Has high commercial value - nice, large fruit and exceptional, unique flavour. Fruit tolerates transport and storage very well. Suitable for amateur and commercial plantations. Grapevines grafted "Gavril" are of best quality.
