New !!! Slava Ukrainy B (Baczynski) is a dessert variety bred by A.Ł. Baczynski / Ukraine. It is a composite hybrid (Talisman x Kodrianka). Slava Ukrainie B is a self-pollinating variety, medium early 120 - 130 days. Growth is strong with very good woodiness. The grapes are conical, loose very large 700- 800g and larger (1,5kg). The berries are slightly oval, dark purple, black, 9 -12g, with no tendency to burst or be damaged by insects. The flesh is fleshy, crisp, harmonised with delicate fruity notes, very tasty. The variety accumulates a lot of sugar 17-19% with a low acidity of 6-7g/l. The variety has very good commercial qualities due to the appearance and taste of the fruit. The yield of the variety is high 80%. Disease resistance is very good with frost resistance down to -24 °C. The fruit tolerates transport and storage very well. The variety is suitable for the establishment of amateur and commercial plantations. Grafted seedlings of the ‘Slava Ukrainy B’ variety are of the best quality.
