New !!! Kamilla is a dessert variety bred by V. U. Capelushny. It is a compound hybrid (Vostorg Krasnyj x Czarriel). Kamilla is a self-pollinating, early variety of 105-110 days with strong growth and good woodiness. The grapes are large to very large 700 - 900 grams and larger, cylindrical medium compact. Berries are large (8 -12g), oval, yellow amber in colour with no tendency to burst. The flesh is fleshy juicy with a harmonised flavour, very tasty with a slight muscat aroma. Sugar content very high 21-23% with an acidity of 5-6g/l. High yield 80 - 85%. The variety is very attractive to the trade due to the appearance and taste of the fruit. Disease resistance good with frost resistance down to - 24°C.Fruit tolerates transport and storage well. The variety is suitable for commercial and amateur cultivation. Grafted seedlings of the ‘Kamilla’ variety are of the best quality.
