New !!! Grand Prix is a dessert variety bred by O. Shchennikov. It is a compound hybrid. Grand Prix is a self-pollinating variety, very early 95-105 days with strong growth and good woodiness. Grapes large and very large 600 -1200 grams, conical, medium compact, rather loose. Berries large 12 -14g, ovoid, yellow-pink, pink, no tendency to burst. Flesh tight, juicy, crunchy, rich in flavour and aromas with particular emphasis on muscat, very tasty. Sugar content 18-20% with an acidity of 5-6g/l. The fruit can hang on the bushes for a very long time without losing any flavour or aroma (even more than a month). Very high yield of 85% - three inflorescences can be left on one vine. A very commercially attractive variety due to the appearance and taste of the fruit. Grand Prix is considered one of the tastiest varieties in the muscat group. Disease resistance high with frost resistance to - 25°C. The fruit tolerates transport and storage well. The variety is suitable for commercial and amateur cultivation. Grapevines grafted "Grand Prix" are of best quality.
