New !!! Shami Abiad is a dessert variety originating from the Syrian regions. Shami Abiad is a self-pollinating, medium-late variety (135-145 days), with moderately strong growth and good woodiness. Grapes large and very large 600 -1000 grams, conical, branched, medium compact. Berries large and very large, cylindrical, sometimes with a pointed tip, 12-16g, yellow-green. Flesh tight, juicy, crunchy, harmonised, with delicate fruity notes (when fully ripe), very tasty. Sugar content 17-19% with an acidity of 6-7g/l. Very high yield of 75-80%. Variety very attractive to the trade due to the appearance and taste of the fruit. Good disease resistance with frost resistance down to - 24°C. Fruit tolerates transport and storage well. Variety suitable for commercial and amateur cultivation. Grapevines grafted "Shami Abiad" are of best quality.
