New !!! Gala is a dessert variety bred in Ukraine/ V.V. Zagorulko. It is a compound hybrid (Podarok Zaporizhzhia x Kodrianka). Gala is a self-pollinating, early 110-115 day variety with strong growth and good woodiness. Grapes large to very large 600 - 900 grams and even up to 2kg, conical medium compact. Berries large 9 -12g oval, dark blue. Flesh fleshy juicy with harmonised flavour, very tasty. Sugar content 16-18% with acidity 5-7g/l. High yield of over 80%. Very good disease resistance, with frost resistance to - 21°C. Fruit tolerates transport and storage well. The variety is suitable for commercial and amateur cultivation.
