Garold (IV -6-5-pk) A dessert grape variety bred at the J.I. Potapienko Institute. It is one of the best very early hybrid varieties ( (WostorgxArkadia) x Summer Muscat). Self-pollinating variety. The Garold variety is a very early variety (95-100 days). Strong growth with good woodiness. Conical-cylindrical clusters, very large 500-700g, moderately compact. Berries oval pointed, amber yellow 24x19mm weighing 6-7g. The fruit can hang on the bushes for a long time, it does not crack and is not eaten by wasps. Up to 15kg of fruit can be harvested from a single bush without compromising fruit quality. Flesh fleshy and juicy, very tasty with a delicate muscat aroma. High sugar content of 19-20% with low acidity of 4-5g. High yield 80-85%. Disease resistance good with frost resistance of -25°С. Garold can also bear fruit on spare shoots. Fruit tolerates transport and storage very well. The variety is suitable for the establishment of amateur and commercial plantations.
