Centennial Seedless is a seedless dessert variety bred in the USA. It is a Vitis Vinifera hybrid [(Gold x Q 25-6) x (F2 sel Emperol x Pirovano 75)]. Centennial Seedless is a self-pollinating, early-ripening variety (115-120), with very vigorous growth and good woodiness. Clusters are large (400-500 grams), conical, and medium-firm. Berries are medium, 3-5g (20x16mm), oval, and turn yellow-amber in the sun with a blush. The flesh is fleshy and juicy, with a balanced flavor, vhit a delicate muscat aroma, very tasty. Sugar content is high (16-18%) with an acidity of 5-6g/l. Yield is good, 75-85%. Disease resistance is similar to Chardonnay (Vitis Vinifera), withstanding frost down to -19°C. The fruit tolerates transportation and storage quite well. This variety is suitable for commercial and amateur cultivation.
