New!!! Ruf is a dessert variety from the selection of A.V. Andronov. It is a compound hybrid [(Talisman x Zagrava) x SP-8]. Ruf is an open-pollinated well-pollinated variety, medium early 120-130 days with strong growth and good bed wood. The grapes are large and very large 700-1200 g, cylindrical, medium compact or loose up to 40cm long. Berries are very large 10-12 g (40x28mm), oblong, nipple-shaped, bright amber orange with a pink tinge. No tendency to burst. The flesh is firm, crisp with a harmonised flavour, very tasty. The sugar content is high at 18-19% with an acidity of 6-7g/l. Yield is high (75-85%). Disease resistance is high and frost resistance to - 25°C. The fruit tolerates transport and storage well. The variety is suitable for commercial and amateur cultivation. Ruf grafted vines are of the best quality.
