Helikon Szepe (without seed ) - K 125AA
Helikon Szepe is a seedless ( III class) dessert variety bred in Hungary/ Dr. Bakonyj K. It is a hybrid of Vitis Vinifera (Czerszegi Muskotaly x Sultanina). Helikon Szepe is a self-pollinating variety, an early 100-115 day, variety with moderately strong growthwith good woodiness. Grapes large 400 -500 grams, cylindrical or conical-cylindrical, medium compact. Berries medium 4 -6g (22x18mm) oval, yellow amber with blush. Flesh fleshy, crisp, with a muscat flavour, very tasty. Sugar high content 17-20% with an acidity of 6-7g/l. Yield high 80%. Disease resistance as with Chardonnay, frost resistance to - 19°C.Fruit tolerates transport and storage well. The variety is suitable for commercial and amateur cultivation. Grapevines grafted "Helikon Szepe" are of best quality.
