Smaragd

Smaragd. It is a Table Grapes variety of grapevine. It was grown in Ukraine/ H. P. Wiszniewiecki . It is a mix of a hybrid camposite (Diemietra x Waliok + Riszielie). It is autogamous. Variety Smaragd it’s medium early (120-125 days). It has strong growth, woodem-skids. Grapes are conical-cylindrical, medium-tight, big and very big (800-1200g  - 1,5kg). Berries are very big 14-20g (39x36mm) slightly oval, white-yellow. Flesh tight, crunchy, harmonized taste with muscat flavour, very tasty. It has a high level of sugar: 16-18% due to the low acidity. 6-7 g/l. - Fertility of this variety is high - 85%. They are very resistant to fungal diseases and frosts even to -24°С. It stands transport and cold storage very well. It is a suitable variety for amateur and commodity plantations. Grapevines grafted Table Grapes Smaragd are of best quality.
