Ametyst Nowoczerkasskij is a dessert variety bred in Russia/Novoczerkassk Institute. It is a complex hybrid (Wostorg krasnyj x Wostorg). Ametyst Nowoczerkasskij is a self-pollinating dessert variety, very early (105–115 days). Growth is strong with good lignification. The bunches are moderately compact, conical-cylindrical, large 500–700 grams. The berries are large 6–8 g, (28 x 22 [mm]), ovoid or teardrop-shaped, dark pink. The flesh is dense, crisp and very tasty. The variety accumulates a lot of sugar, up to 16-17%, with low acidity of 6-7 g/l. The variety is 85% fertile. It has high disease resistance and frost resistance down to -24°C. The Ametyst Nowoczerkasskij variety is suitable for both amateur and commercial cultivation. The fruit tolerates transport and storage well.
