Attika is a seedless dessert grape variety bred in Greece/ Michos Vassilos. It is a hybrid of Vitis Vinifera (Alfonse Lavalle x Kishmish Black) with a very early ripening time of 100 - 110 days. Attika is a self-pollinating variety with medium growth and good woodiness. Conical and cylindrical-conical grapes, large and very large 600-900g moderately compact. Berries oval, dark dark blue, large 25x19mm, 4-6g. Flesh moderately firm, juicy, harmonised-fruity, very tasty, seedless. Fruits do not crack from excess rain. Sugar content high 16-18% with low acidity 5-6g/l. Disease resistance good as with more resistant Vitis Vinifera varieties - e.g. Chardonnay. High yield 75-80%. Frost resistance -20°С. Variety tolerates transport and storage well. Suitable for both amateur and commercial cultivation. Grapevines grafted "Attika" are of best quality.
