New !!! Biełyj Chrustal is a dessert variety bred by A.V. Budrak. It is a compound hybrid [Sofia x (Victoria x s. p.)] - one of the best bright-fruited varieties of this breeder. Bielyj Khrustal is a self-pollinating variety, early 110 - 120 days. Strong growth with good woodiness. The grapes are conical, loose grapes very large 600-1000g. Berries very large 12 -16g (34 x 28mm) oval or egg-shaped (egg shape), yellow-green. Fruits show no tendency to burst. Flesh fleshy, crisp harmonised with muscat flavour, very tasty. The variety accumulates a lot of sugar 16-18% with a low acidity of 5-6g/l. Yield of the variety very high 85%. The variety has very good commercial qualities. Resistance to diseases high with frost resistance down to -23 °C. The fruit tolerates transport and storage very well. The variety is suitable for the establishment of amateur and commercial plantations. Grafted vines of ‘Biełyj Chrustal’ are of the best quality.
